A. General information
Start: 9 AM – Left Bank (Thonetlaan next to Frederik van Eedenplein)
Arrival: Right Bank (Grote Markt)
Time limit: 5h30

B. Your race number
Race numbers can be picked up on Sunday 28/04 from 8.00 AM at the Sportstickertent (138) which can be found in the company village at Left Bank. You can find our tent by simply clicking on this link.

To pick up your race number, please bring your Student ID or Staff ID so we can check your registration. A T-shirt of your institution will also be given to you. If you ordered a T-shirt for charity, you will find a receipt in the envelope that you receive together with your starting number. With this receipt you can also pick up your T-shirt at the Sportstickertent.

C. Your sports bags
If you bring a backpack, you can deposit this backpack at our Sportstickertent. Make sure it is a tightly closed backpack. After the race you can pick your backpack up again. Sportsticker is not liable for any damage or loss.

PLEASE COME TO OUR TENT (138) IN TIME! It might get very busy while picking up your race number. Be as early as possible to avoid long lines at the Sportstickertent.

Attention: the marathon ends on Right Bank. If you don’t want to or can’t come past the Sportstickertent afterwards, there is always the possibility to give your backpack to Golazo. The trucks to deposit your bag are near the subscription tent. Golazo brings all backpacks to the finish line.

D. Mobility
Be sure to consult the ‘Slim naar Antwerpen‘ route planner (available via computer or app).

On foot
Left Bank is easily accessible from the centre of Antwerp via the pedestrian tunnel (Sint-Anna). Pedestrian tunnel too busy? There is a free ferry service at Steenplein.

By bike
Plan your route in advance using the Antwerp cycling map.

Bicycles are not allowed in the pedestrian tunnel on Sunday 28 April. Park your bike in the temporary bicycle sheds at the entrance to the pedestrian tunnel.
The use of the bicycle tunnel (Beatrijslaan – De Gerlachekaai) is not recommended. Waiting times will be high, making the pedestrian tunnel faster.

Public transport
Train: get off at Antwerpen-Centraal station and walk from there along the Meir to Left Bank. To cross the river ‘the Schelde’, you can choose between the pedestrian tunnel or the ferry at Steenplein. You can also take the pre-metro line 3, 5, 9 or 15 to stop F. Van Eeden.

In Antwerpen-Zuid you can take tram 4 to the Groenplaats.

Tram: tram 3, 5, 9 or 15 to stop Halewijn or F. Van Eeden.

By car
The best way to get to Antwerp is on foot, by bike or by public transport. If you do come by car, we advise you to park your car just outside the city of Antwerp. From there on you can use public transport for example.

E. Supplies and toilets
Every 2.5km water is provided and every 5km isotonic AA Drink Isolemon. At kilometres 15, 25 and 35 there are bananas. At the finish line there are 1 bottle of sports water, 1 bottle of AA Drink Isolemon and a gingerbread available.

Personal drinks can also be delivered between 7.30 AM and 8.15 AM at the personal drinks stand in the Thonetlaan at Left Bank. Make sure your drink is easily recognisable, so you don’t have to search for it.

Based on the location of the supply posts, there will be two toilet cabins every 5km.
