COMPETITIVE ONLINE PROGRAM

ASL ONLINE CHESS

ASL Chess is a mixed individual competition. Games will be played on location(s) and time of your preference.The chess games will be played online through lichess.org.

REGISTRATIONS

You can register until the 8th of November 2020. Send an e-mail to astrid@sportsticker.be to sign up for this competition.

GAMES

After the subscriptions are closed, you will receive an e-mail with the information about your opponents during the group stage. You will arrange a date, time and location for your game with your opponents yourself. This way, you are able to create your own calendar. The games of the group stage have to be played before a certain deadline. The same procedure applies for the knock-out phase.

ASL GAMING

In the competition ASL Gaming, multiple games will be played during the semester. You can play individually or in team, and represent your students club!

PCU GAMES - CHALLENGES

The PCU Games are an international sports tournament hosted in Antwerp. Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, the KdG University College, Antwerp Maritime Academy, ITM and KU Leuven Antwerp will participate in the PCUGames@Home. Compete against international students in 6 different challenges and win gift cards with a value of €30!
WHAT?

You can participate in 6 different challenges:

  • Futsal
  • Basketball
  • Volleyball
  • Tennis (3 challenges)

PARTICIPATE

You can easily participate by filming yourself while doing one, more or all challenges. Send in this/these video(s) of yourself before Thursday 12 November:

We reward the best result in each challenge of our Antwerp students by giving them a gift card of €30 (Decathlon). Find out who won which challenge on Friday the 13th of November.


THE CHALLENGES

Challenge 1 : Futsal Challenge

Hold the ball high on alternating feet (left/right). The number of times you make the left/right combination during maximum 30 seconds without dropping the ball will count as the result. Challenge 2 : Basketball Challenge

Make a figure 8 between your legs while dribbling. The number of times you make a figure 8 during maximum 30 seconds in one continuous motion will count as the result. The video below explains what to do. Then send us your unedited video (see above). Vertical format is preferred.

Challenge 3 : Volleyball Challenge

Hold the ball high by alternatively passing underarm (on the forearms) and overhand (above the head). The number of times you make a combination during maximum 30 seconds without dropping the ball will count as the result. The video below explains what to do. Challenge 4 : Racket Challenge

Hold the ball high on your racket on alternating sides. The number of times you hit the ball in the right order during maximum 30 seconds without dropping will count as the result. The video below explains what to do. Then send us your unedited video. Vertical format is preferred.
