BRIDGECLUB DUA

DUA stands for Denksportclub Universiteit Antwerpen and at DUA you are welcome if you enjoy playing cards. Bridge is a fascinating, addictive and challenging game. You can somewhat compare it to chess, but there is a lot more to it that both recreational and competitive players will enjoy.

Students with a Sportsticker are entitled to a free DUA course and discounted memberships:

  • Become a member? First year = free, second year you pay €50 (instead of €70). It is not mandatory to become a member right away!
  • The membership fee paid is then valid for the current year that students take the course and for the full bridge year thereafter. The student is then a member of the VBL (Flemish Bridge Liga).
  • Members can participate for free in all competitions

Staff with a Sportsticker are entitled to a discount when taking out a subscription:

  • Become a member? First year you pay €50 (instead of €70), second year you pay the full price. The staff member is then a member of the VBL (Flemish Bridge Liga).
  • Members can participate for free in all competitions

Extra:

Always bring your student or staff card with you, as well as your smartphone to scan the QR code.

Looking for a challenging new hobby? Or already some experience with cards and may it be something more? Then bridge is definitely something for you! Bridge club DUA organizes introductory sessions throughout the academic year. The introductory moments are free and drinks will be provided:

  • Wednesday October 4th, 7 p.m.: UAntwerp City Campus, room S.E.201
  • Wednesday October 11th, 7 p.m.: UAntwerp City Campus, room S.C.102
